Pricing Analyst

We are looking for a Pricing Analyst with a Procurement Background .

This is not a finance role. You must come from a manufacturing / mining background and have more than 5 years of experience. Please don't apply if this is not relevant to you.

This role is responsible for analysing supplier pricing, monitoring cost drivers, maintaining pricing models, and identifying cost-saving opportunities that support business profitability and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities

• Analyse supplier pricing, cost breakdowns, and cost drivers.

• Monitor pricing trends, inflation impacts, and exchange rate fluctuations.

• Conduct price variance analysis and cost benchmarking.

• Develop and maintain pricing models, dashboards, and reports.

• Support supplier negotiations through pricing analysis and savings scenarios.

• Validate supplier quotes, tenders, and price increase requests.

• Perform Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and should-cost analyses.

• Track procurement savings, cost avoidance initiatives, and procurement performance.

• Ensure pricing accuracy and integrity within ERP systems.

• Support procurement audits, governance, and compliance requirements.

• Collaborate with Procurement, Finance, Engineering, Production, and Aftermarket teams to drive data-driven pricing decisions.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or Advanced Diploma in supply chain / procurement:

• Finance or Accounting

• Economics

• Business Administration

• Statistics or Data Analytics

• 4 -5 years' experience in procurement pricing analysis.

• Strong Excel, reporting, and data analysis skills.

• ERP system experience.

• Understanding of procurement processes, controls, and governance.

• Manufacturing or engineering industry experience will be advantageous.
