Join a dynamic Enterprise Solutions team as a Pre-Sales Engineer focused on next-gen hybrid cloud solutions. This is your chance to become a key player in designing cutting-edge infrastructure for public, private, and hybrid environments—specifically with the Nutanix stack. You’ll act as a technical advisor, trusted partner, and solutions architect to some of the most forward-thinking businesses in South Africa.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Be the technical face of the business during customer engagements and industry events
- Deliver powerful presentations, whiteboarding sessions, demos, and proof-of-concepts
- Build business cases with C-level executives and tech partners
- Actively promote and demonstrate the full Enterprise Solutions portfolio
- Coach internal teams and new hires on the latest in enterprise tech
- Work alongside sales teams to develop tailored infrastructure solutions
- Evaluate tenders and contribute to pricing strategies
- Stay on the pulse of cloud, hyperconverged, and virtualisation trends
- Ensure accurate and competitive pricing for client solutions
- Represent the brand as a trusted technical advisor throughout the customer journey
Desired Experience & Qualification
Experience & Knowledge
- 3+ years in pre-sales for enterprise infrastructure or software
- Strong understanding of enterprise storage, networking, virtualisation, and cloud ecosystems
- Deep knowledge of hyperconverged infrastructure—especially Nutanix—is highly advantageous
- Experience building infrastructure solutions and presenting to leadership
- Comfortable navigating complex solution design and sales cycles
Education & Skills
- Matric with Mathematics (non-negotiable)
- Relevant tertiary qualification or certifications in convergence tech (advantageous)
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Strong planning, time management, and presentation skills
- Solid computer literacy in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Package & Remuneration
R90 000.00 OTE per month depending on experience
