- Applications are invited for an energetic, creative and innovative Pre-Primary School teacher, who meets the below listed requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for whole-child development of a class of Pre-Primary School children
- Planning and preparation in alignment with the school's Curriculum
- Comprehensive and continuous assessment and observation of each child's development
- Daily professional interaction with parents
- Close teamwork and collegiality
Minimum Requirements Skills and Competencies:
- Must have the ability to identify with the values and ethos of the school
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with parents, staff and most importantly with young children
- Is motivated and uses initiative
- Must have a good command of the English Language spoken and written
- Strong computer skills, both for administrative purposes and ICT in the classroom
- Must have a warm and nurturing personality
- Willing to participate in continuous staff development
Desired experience and qualifications
- 4-Year qualification, with ECD specialisation
- Proven Pre-Primary School teaching experience
- Valid SACE certification minimum NQF level 6 and police clearance
