Practice Manager (Audiology)

Introduction

We are looking for an experienced Practice Manager with a passion for operational excellence, people leadership and exceptional patient care.

The Ear Institute is seeking a pro-active Practice Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our Queenswood practice in Pretoria. This person will be responsible for managing a multidisciplinary, professional team, drive practice performance and enhance the patient experience.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Digital diary management

• Manage a staff compliment of 15 - 20 employees

• Building and equipment management (stock control and quality control)

• Daily check and control of operations to ensure excellent patient care

• Conduct weekly team meetings to ensure targets and goals are met and continuously tracked

• Initiate, coordinate and execute marketing initiative to grow and expand the practice patient reach

• Oversee all administrative duties

• Identify operational challenges and implement practical solutions proactively

• Staff leave management

Desired Experience & Qualification

• 5 years + experience in a medical practice environment

• Experience leading & managing a staff compliment of 15 -20 employees

• Fluent in both English and Afrikaans (verbal and written)

• Matric (further qualifications will be beneficial)

• Fully computer literate - MS Office, and financial software

• Experience in liaising with medical aids regarding available benefits, authorisations and payments

• Own reliable vehicle and valid drivers licence

• Clear criminal record
