Job Experience & Skills Required
- Extensive fire engineering design experience
- Experience in building services consulting
- Knowledge of local and international fire regulations
- Strong client-facing and project leadership capabilities
Duties
- Lead fire engineering projects from concept through construction and final handover.
- Develop performance-based fire engineering solutions for complex developments.
- Design fire detection, suppression and smoke management systems.
- Conduct fire risk assessments, evacuation modelling and compliance reviews.
- Liaise with local authorities, fire departments and stakeholders to secure approvals.
- Prepare fire engineering reports, specifications and technical documentation.
- Review architectural and mechanical designs for fire safety compliance.
- Provide specialist guidance on passive and active fire protection systems.
- Mentor junior engineers and oversee technical quality assurance processes.
- Participate in business development and client relationship management activities.
