KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

  • Writing research reports and publications in the FALF-FREF-NMU Research Chair on Entrepreneurship and Financial inclusion.
  • Grant applications and management of Entrepreneurship and Finance programmes.
  • Supervision of postgraduates and development of commercialised research.
  • Obtain ethics approval for research and writing papers for publication
  • Facilitation of Entrepreneurship and Finance programmes.
  • Liaison support with diverse agencies, bodies, and councils in the Entrepreneurship and Finance sectors.

CORE COMPETENCIES

  • Strong research publication skills.
  • Facilitation and supervision experience
  • Organisational skills, communication skills and report writing, computer skills Ms Office, Internet Search Engines, and ITS, interpersonal skills.
  • A sound understanding of the higher education sector environment, systems, and administrative processes and procedures.

REQUIREMENTS

To be considered for this position the candidate or applicant should have complied with ALL the following requirements:

  • Female candidate who should have graduated with her doctorate degree no longer than within the previous five years.
  • A proven research publication track record
  • Relevant workplace experience in the higher education sector.
  • International PDRFs must apply for the appropriate visas for the purposes of doing research in South Africa endorsed to Nelson Mandela University.
