Duties & Responsibilities

Focus Areas

• Instilling a passion for responsible entrepreneurship.

• Demonstrating that entrepreneurship as a viable career path.

• Equipping students to transform ideas into sustainable ventures.

• Building a strong connection with the Allan Gray Orbis Foundation and its venture funding partner, E Squared .

• Promoting a culture of community and collaboration.

Programme eligibility

• Be a citizen of Eswatini, Botswana, or Namibia

• Be under the age of 35.

• Have an Undergraduate degree from one of these universities ONLY : WITS, UJ, UCT, UWC, SU, UP, UFS, UKZN or TSiBA.

• Have a minimum of 60% average for your Undergraduate degree.

• If studying, MUST BE STUDYING THEIR POSTGRADUATE DEGREE AT one of the following universities ONLY : Wits, UJ, UP, UCT, UWC and SU

• Alumni who meet the criteria and are already working are also welcome, they do not currently need to be studying to apply.

• Show evidence of entrepreneurial competence against set criteria.

• Be available to commit to an 11-month programme consisting of approximately 350 hours, in person & online.

Programme details

• Duration : Jan 2027 – December 2027

• Time Commitment : Approximately 350 hours (online and in-person content)

• Content covers entrepreneurial fundamentals, business case studies, mentorship, coaching, and venture development.
