Position available for Graduate Intern – Accounting & Business Administration

Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Accounting and Administration Graduate Intern to work directly alongside the business owner. This is an incredible opportunity for a recent graduate to gain 360-degree exposure to running a business. You will split your time between maintaining clean, accurate financial records and managing critical day-to-day administrative operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Accounting & Financial Support

• Manage daily invoicing, debtor tracking, and customer statements.
• Assist with basic bookkeeping, data entry, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly financial summaries and management reports for review.
• Assist the owner with statutory compliance, returns, and document submissions (SARS, VAT, PAYE if applicable).

2. Administration & Business Operations

• Work hand-in-hand with the business owner to execute diverse operational tasks.
• Manage calendars, client scheduling, appointments, and email correspondence.
• Organize, digitalize, and maintain internal company filing systems.
• Handle general ad-hoc administrative duties to ensure smooth daily operations.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: Completed Degree or National Diploma in Accounting, Financial Management, Business Administration, or a closely related commerce field.
• Software: Good foundational knowledge of accounting software. Hands-on experience or familiarity with QuickBooks is highly beneficial.
• Tech-Savvy: Strong proficiency Google Workspace tools.
• Attributes: A self-starter who thrives in a small business environment, possesses excellent communication skills, and maintains absolute confidentiality.
