Introduction

Eaglerock Property Management is looking for a reliable, organised and people-focused Portfolio Manager to join our team.

The role involves managing Sectional Title Body Corporates and Homeowners' Associations (HOAs) and working closely with Trustees, Directors, owners, contractors and service providers.

Experience is advantageous but not essential. We are looking for someone with the right attitude, a willingness to learn, strong communication skills and the ability to take ownership.

Duties & Responsibilities

As a Portfolio Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of your portfolio and will act as the main point of contact for Trustees and clients.

Key responsibilities include

  • Managing Trustee, AGM and SGM meetings, including preparation, minutes and follow-up on action items.
  • Building strong relationships with Trustees, owners, contractors and service providers.
  • Handling client queries and ensuring matters are followed through to resolution.
  • Coordinating maintenance, repairs, insurance claims, contractors, quotations and site inspections.
  • Assisting with budgets, levy increases, financial reports, arrears and annual audits.
  • Assisting Trustees with governance, compliance and general scheme management.
  • Ensuring schemes comply with STSMA, CSOS requirements, scheme rules and other applicable legislation.
  • Liaising with attorneys, auditors, accountants, insurers, contractors and other service providers.
  • Keeping scheme records, correspondence and documentation up to date.
  • Working closely with Eaglerock's accounting and administration teams.
  • Managing multiple deadlines and priorities across your portfolio.
  • Taking ownership of problems, providing regular feedback and making sure that nothing falls through the cracks.

Desired Experience & Qualification

  • Previous Sectional Title or HOA experience is advantageous but not essential.
  • A willingness to learn and develop within the property management industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills.
  • Good computer literacy.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Professional, confident and service-oriented approach.
  • Positive, proactive attitude with a strong sense of responsibility and ownership.
  • Valid driver's licence and own reliable vehicle – ESSENTIAL.
  • Available to attend evening meetings – ESSENTIAL.
  • WeConnectU experience is advantageous.
  • A relevant property, business, finance or legal qualification will be advantageous.

Package & Remuneration

Market-related salary, depending on experience and suitability.
