Key Responsibilities / Hoofverantwoordelikhede

• Installation, assembly, and piping of water treatment systems, skids, and container units

• Maintenance, servicing, and repairs of pumps, filters, softeners, piping, and related equipment

• Assistance with commissioning, troubleshooting, and client handover

• General workshop and site duties to ensure systems operate reliably

• Learning water treatment principles, including Reverse Osmosis, pre-treatment, disinfection, and basic process control

• Working as part of a small technical team on projects in the Western Cape (with the possibility of additional travel)

• Installasie, montering en pypwerk van waterbehandelingstelsels, skids en houer-eenhede

• Onderhoud, diens en herstelwerk aan pompe, filters, versagters, pypwerk en verwante toerusting

• Ondersteuning met inbedryfstelling, probleemoplossing en kliënt-oordrag

• Algemene werkswinkel- en terreinduties om stelsels betroubaar te laat werk

• Leer waterbehandelingsbeginsels insluitend Omgekeerde Osmose, voorbehandeling, ontsmetting en basiese prosesbeheer

• Werk as deel van ’n klein tegniese span aan projekte in die Wes-Kaap (met moontlikheid van verdere reise)

Minimum Requirements / Minimum Vereistes

• Qualified Plumber with a valid trade certificate with a minimum of 3 years work exprience or minimum 5 years experience without a qualifcation.

• Practical plumbing experience, together with strong mechanical fitting knowledge and experience.

• Valid driver’s licence and reliable transport to and from work.

• Comfortable working in both workshop and client-site environments, including outdoor and remote locations when required.

• Energetic and highly motivated to develop additional technical skills.

• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and good communication skills.

• Willingness to travel within the Western Cape as required.

• Experience in water treatment, wastewater, process plants, or related environments.

• Experience with water systems, pumps, filtration, irrigation, or similar technical installations will be advantageous.

• Basic electrical knowledge, or willingness to undergo cross-training, will be advantageous.

• Previous site installation and maintenance experience will be advantageous.

• Gekwalifiseerde Loodgieter met ’n geldige ambagsertifikaat en ’n minimum van 3 jaar werkservaring, of ’n minimum van 5 jaar praktiese ervaring sonder ’n kwalifikasie.

• Praktiese loodgieterervaring, tesame met sterk meganiese passtukkennis en ervaring.

• Geldige bestuurderslisensie en betroubare vervoer na en van die werk.

• Gemaklik om in beide werkswinkel- en kliëntperseelomgewings te werk, insluitend buitelug- en afgeleë liggings wanneer benodig.

• Energiek en hoogs gemotiveerd om addisionele tegniese vaardighede te ontwikkel.

• Sterk werksetiek, aandag aan detail en goeie kommunikasievaardighede.

• Bereidheid om binne die Wes-Kaap te reis soos benodig.

• Ervaring in waterbehandeling, afvalwater, prosesaanlegte of verwante omgewings.

• Ervaring met waterstelsels, pompe, filtrasie, besproeiing of soortgelyke tegniese installasies sal tot voordeel wees.

• Basiese elektriese kennis, of bereidwilligheid om kruisopleiding te ondergaan, sal tot voordeel wees.

• Vorige ervaring met perseelinstallasies en instandhouding sal tot voordeel wees.
