We are looking for an experienced PLC / SCADA Engineer to join a technically driven engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, programming, integration, commissioning and support of industrial automation and control systems across a range of industrial projects.
This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with strong PLC and SCADA experience who enjoys solving complex technical problems and working directly with clients, site teams and multidisciplinary engineering teams. Duties & Responsibilities
We are looking for an experienced PLC / SCADA Engineer to join a technically driven engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, programming, integration, commissioning and support of industrial automation and control systems across a range of industrial projects. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with strong PLC and SCADA experience who enjoys solving complex technical problems and working directly with clients, site teams and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop and program PLC-based control systems .
- Develop and configure SCADA and HMI systems .
- Perform system integration between PLCs, SCADA, drives, instrumentation and other industrial equipment.
- Develop control philosophies, functional specifications, I/O schedules and related engineering documentation.
- Configure industrial communication networks and protocols.
- Conduct factory acceptance testing (FAT) and site acceptance testing (SAT).
- Commission automation and control systems on client sites.
- Perform fault-finding, troubleshooting and system optimisation.
- Provide technical support to clients and maintenance teams.
- Interface with electrical, instrumentation, mechanical and process engineering teams.
- Assist with system upgrades, modifications and migrations.
- Ensure projects are delivered according to technical specifications, quality standards and project timelines.
- Prepare technical reports, manuals and commissioning documentation.
- Travel to client sites when required.
Minimum Requirements
- BEng / BSc / BTech / Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Control Engineering, Mechatronics or Automation .
- 3–5+ years' experience in PLC and SCADA engineering .
- Strong PLC programming experience.
- Proven experience with industrial automation and control systems.
- Experience with SCADA/HMI development and configuration .
- Experience with industrial communication protocols and networks.
- Experience with commissioning and fault-finding.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and control schematics.
- Valid driver's licence.
- Willingness to travel to client sites and work on commissioning projects when required.
