Start free — we apply for you →Our client is seeking a Platform / Cloud Engineer with strong Kubernetes, AWS, and containerisation experience to support modern cloud-native workloads. This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys automation, infrastructure, reliability, and building platforms that enable development teams to deliver software efficiently and securely.
Requirements
- Strong experience with AWS, including services such as EKS, VPC, S3, RDS, IAM, Fargate, Lambda, and CloudFront.
- Understanding of AWS Well-Architected Framework principles.
- Solid Kubernetes experience, particularly EKS.
- Experience with Kubernetes administration, including networking, ingress, and RBAC.
- Strong understanding of containerisation and cloud-native architectures.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and AWS DevOps tooling.
- Experience with Helm and/or Kustomize.
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK.
- Experience with Kubernetes GitOps practices and tools such as ArgoCD or Flux.
- Monitoring and observability experience using technologies such as Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, X-Ray, or OpenTracing.
- Linux experience.
- Understanding of distributed systems and architectures.
- Exposure to programming languages such as Python, Go, Java, or JavaScript.
