• Advise on material selection and procurement for boilers and pressure vessels. • Review and apply national and international standards on design, manufacture, and materials. • Perform metallurgical inspections , including hardness testing, material replication, and failure analyses. • Support quality control procedures for manufacturing and heat treatment processes. • Provide metallurgical support to various departments and deliver technical training when required. • Maintain supplier relationships and attend inspections, exhibitions, and technical meetings. Skills & Knowledge:
• Industrial boiler design (shell and tube, watertube). • Combustion processes and heat distribution. • Boiler water treatment and circulation. • Pressure vessel manufacturing and life assessment. • Corrosion mechanisms, metallurgy of alloy steels. • Failure mechanics and microstructural evaluations. • Clear and professional communication and reporting skills.
