Start free — we apply for you →Job Title: PLANT MANAGER - FERTILIZER MANUFACTURING (DOUGLAS) Start Date: 2026-07-24 - 2026-08-23 Vacancy Type: Permanent NEL012836 Sectors: Plant and Manufacturing Location: Northern Cape , Douglas Salary: Brief: An established agricultural company is seeking an experienced Plant Manager to oversee production, warehouse, maintenance, inventory, and SHERQ functions at a fertilizer production facility. The successful candidate will drive operational efficiency, ensure compliance, manage plant performance, and lead a high-performing team. Detail: Requirements: Grade 12 (Matric) essential; relevant tertiary qualification advantageous Minimum 5 years' management experience in a production or plant environment Fertilizer production and production planning experience advantageous Strong knowledge of plant operations, maintenance, inventory control, and production planning Experience with SHERQ compliance and safety standards Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills Computer literate with strong MS Office skills; SAP experience advantageous Experience with budgeting, cost control, and continuous improvement initiatives Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational environment By submitting any Personal Information to MPRTC in any form you acknowledge that such conduct constitutes a reasonable unconditional, specific and voluntary consent to the (processing and storing of such Personal Information by MPRTC and/or MPRTC's clients and/or verification information suppliers.
