Plant Manager

Minimum requirements

• Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Food Technology, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years experience as a Plant Manager, Industrial Manager, or Operations Manager within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience leading multidisciplinary teams , preferably within a food manufacturing or FMCG environment.
• Strong experience across Production, Maintenance, Engineering, Supply Chain, Warehousing, Projects, and EHS .
• Proven experience managing operational budgets, CAPEX projects, cost-saving initiatives, and continuous improvement programmes .
• Strong knowledge of SAP/ERP and manufacturing systems , with advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• In-depth knowledge of GMP, HACCP, ISO 22000, food safety standards, and regulatory compliance .
• Proven knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, TPM, 5S, Root Cause Analysis, Continuous Improvement, and operational excellence .
• Strong understanding of manufacturing KPIs, including OEE, yield, downtime, productivity, and production losses .
• Excellent leadership, strategic thinking, problem-solving, analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills .
• Experience managing budgets, inventory, working capital, production planning, and supply chain performance .
• Strong knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety, environmental compliance, sustainability, and risk management .
• Experience with employee relations, performance management, coaching, talent development, and working with unions will be advantageous.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to work effectively under pressure and drive operational excellence.
