• Ensure maximum plant and equipment availability. • Plan and manage preventative and corrective maintenance. • Lead engineering and continuous improvement projects. • Support production to achieve quality, cost and delivery targets. • Investigate equipment failures and implement corrective actions. • Ensure compliance with health, safety and quality standards. • Liaise with customers regarding engineering and technical matters. • Build and maintain strong customer relationships. • Manage engineering contractors and service providers. • Prepare engineering reports and monitor maintenance costs. • Provide technical support to production and maintenance teams. - Degree or National Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years' engineering experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Automotive industry experience is advantageous.
- Experience in plant maintenance, engineering projects and continuous improvement.
- Knowledge of preventative and predictive maintenance.
- Sound understanding of IATF 16949, ISO standards and the OHS Act.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and customer liaison skills.
- Computer literacy (MS Office and maintenance systems).
