A company based in Cape Town seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Picker to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately picking, packing, and preparing orders for dispatch while ensuring adherence to warehouse procedures and safety standards using a pallet jack.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Accurately pick stock according to picking slips or system instructions
- Operate a Powered Pallet Truck (PPT) safely and efficiently
- Ensure orders are packed correctly and ready for dispatch
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations
- Assist with general warehouse duties as required
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- Pallet Jack experience
- Previous warehouse or picking experience will be advantageous
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong work ethic and reliability
