We are seeking experienced and reliable Temporary Warehouse Workers to join our client's warehouse operations based in Tongaat and Verulam. Duties & Responsibilities
Minimum Requirements
- Matric / Grade 12.
- Previous experience in the specific position applied for.
- Good understanding of warehouse operations and procedures.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet productivity targets.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Willingness to work shifts, overtime, and weekends when required.
- Operate reach trucks to move and store stock within the warehouse racking system.
- Operate forklifts to move, load, and offload warehouse stock
- Combine and consolidate products according to customer orders.
- Pick stock according to customer orders and picking slips.
- Use handheld scanners to scan and verify products.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Operate Powered Pallet Trucks (PPT) to move stock within the warehouse.
- Load and offload pallets safely.
- Pick stock according to customer orders and picking slips.
- Use handheld scanners to scan and verify products.
- Prepare picked orders for packing and dispatch.
- Pack products according to company requirements and customer orders.
- Check products for quality and quantity before packing.
- Label, seal and prepare parcels for dispatch
- Combine and consolidate products according to customer orders.
- Ensure correct products and quantities are grouped together.
- Check stock against order requirements.
- Prepare consolidated orders for packing and dispatch.
- Operate forklifts to move, load and offload warehouse stock.
- Stack and retrieve pallets safely.
- Assist with receiving, storage and dispatch operations.
- Conduct basic pre-start equipment inspections.
- Operate reach trucks to move and store stock within warehouse racking systems.
- Load and offload pallets at designated storage locations.
- Retrieve stock from high-level racking.
- Ensure safe handling and movement of warehouse goods.
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and report faults.
