PHP Developer

Introduction

We are looking for an experienced Front-End Engineer with 5+ years of professional experience to develop, maintain, and enhance web applications and digital platforms. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with PHP, Drupal, JavaScript, and SQL , with the ability to work across front-end development and Drupal-based web solutions.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance responsive web applications and digital platforms.

• Build and maintain websites and web solutions using Drupal and PHP .

• Develop interactive and dynamic user interfaces using JavaScript .

• Work with existing Drupal modules, themes, templates, and configurations.

• Develop and maintain reusable front-end components and web interfaces.

• Integrate front-end applications with backend services and APIs.

• Write, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL queries for application and reporting requirements.

• Perform debugging, testing, and performance optimization of web applications.

• Identify and resolve front-end, Drupal, PHP, and database-related issues.

• Collaborate with designers, developers, business analysts, and other technical teams.

• Ensure applications follow web development, coding, security, and performance best practices.

• 5+ years of professional experience in front-end/web development.

• Strong hands-on experience with JavaScript .

• Practical experience developing and maintaining Drupal websites/applications.

• Strong working knowledge of PHP .

• Good experience with SQL and relational databases.

• Experience with responsive web development and modern web standards.

• Experience troubleshooting and optimizing web applications.

• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional technical and business teams.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Willingness and ability to work 100% from the Johannesburg office .
