Start free — we apply for you →Our client is seeking an experienced PHP Developer to take ownership of a well-established software platform that plays a critical role within its Revenue Systems division. This is an exciting opportunity for a developer who enjoys working with mature production systems, gaining deep technical ownership, and driving the ongoing evolution of a platform used by a growing customer base. The successful candidate will initially focus on knowledge transfer and understanding the existing environment before becoming the internal technical authority responsible for future enhancements, maintenance, and long-term platform development.
Key Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field • 5+ years of commercial PHP development experience • Strong proficiency in PHP 8.0 or later • Experience with Laravel and/or Symfony • Experience maintaining and improving legacy and custom PHP applications • Strong MySQL and/or PostgreSQL database experience • Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs • Knowledge of OAuth2, JWT, API Keys, and secure integration practices • Experience with Git version control and CI/CD pipelines · Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
