We are seeking an experienced Frontshop Assistant to join our pharmacy. The successful candidate must have previous experience working in a pharmacy and a good knowledge of pharmacy frontshop products. The role requires excellent customer service, accurate cash handling, and the ability to work efficiently in a busy retail environment.
Duties & Responsibilities

Assist customers and provide excellent customer service.
Process cash, card, and other payments accurately.
Operate the point-of-sale system and process returns/exchanges.
Assist customers with pharmacy frontshop product enquiries.
Maintain good knowledge of products and their location in the pharmacy.
Monitor, receive, replenish, and control frontshop stock.
Check pricing, expiry dates, and shelf displays.
Maintain a clean, organised, and professional frontshop.
Report stock shortages, discrepancies, and suspicious activity to management.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Requirements
Matric / Grade 12 –
Previous pharmacy experience – ESSENTIAL.
Good knowledge of pharmacy frontshop products – ESSENTIAL.
2–3 years' relevant pharmacy/frontshop experience preferred.
Previous experience operating a POS system and handling cash.
Must be customer-focused and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Skills & Knowledge
Good knowledge of pharmacy and health-related frontshop products.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Strong numeracy and attention to detail.
Good stock-control skills.
Reliable, professional, and well presented.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
