Financial Planning Partner Assistant (12-Month Fixed-Term Contract to be renewed)
Location: George (WC) Constantia (CT) Menlyn (JHB) – all roles are on site.
Join a leading financial services practice and play a vital role in delivering exceptional client service and operational support to a team of Financial Planners.
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly organised, client-focused professional who enjoys building relationships, coordinating complex administrative processes, and ensuring a seamless client experience. Working closely with Financial Planning Partners, you will provide end-to-end administrative, operational, and client service support while acting as a key liaison between clients, product providers, and the wider business.
Duties & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate all client service and administrative activities within the financial planning practice.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring a professional and responsive service experience.
- Prepare client documentation, fact finds, and onboarding paperwork, including FICA and AML compliance requirements.
- Process new business applications, client transfers, and ongoing policy administration.
- Liaise with product providers regarding applications, underwriting, commissions, and client-related queries.
- Maintain accurate client records, reports, and portfolio information on CRM and financial planning systems.
- Support client review meetings through the preparation of portfolio reports and review documentation.
- Assist with client events, office administration, diary management, and general operational support.
- Monitor service standards and assist in achieving operational and performance objectives.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Requirements
- 2-3 years' experience with investments / wealth administration (ideally having worked as a PA to a Broker)
- RE5 and any wealth / long term insurance / investment qualifications will be highly beneficial
- Understanding of financial services regulations, including FAIS and FICA.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Experience with CRM and financial planning systems is preferred (Xplan)
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Strong organisational abilities with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Package & Remuneration
