- People Internship Programme is a fixed-term opportunity designed to provide practical exposure to various People functions within a retail environment.
- The programme offers hands-on experience, mentorship, and support, enabling interns to develop the skills, knowledge, and confidence needed to build a successful career in Human Resources while gaining valuable insight into how people practices support business operations.

What you'll do
- Gain exposure to various People functions within a retail environment. Assist with recruitment, selection, and onboarding activities. Support employee relations processes and HR initiatives.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR administration. Assist with training, learning, and development activities. Support employee engagement and wellbeing initiatives.
- Gaining a better understanding and offering HR support to managers and employees across the business. Assist with workforce planning and organisational projects.
- Gaining knowledge of compliance with company policies, procedures, and labour legislation. Participate in projects and activities that contribute to business and people objectives.
- Build strong working relationships with stakeholders across the business. Gain exposure into structured training, coaching, and mentorship sessions to support your development.
- Through this programme, you will gain valuable hands-on experience, practical HR knowledge, and the support needed to build a successful career in People Management and Resources.
What you bring
- A passion for people and a genuine interest in building a career in Human Resources. A relevant HR, Industrial Psychology, Business Management, or related qualification completed or currently studying, where applicable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills. A willingness to learn and gain exposure to different HR disciplines.
- Good planning, organisational, and administrative skills. Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy. Professionalism, integrity, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
- A customer-focused mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving. The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. A positive attitude, adaptability, and a commitment to continuous learning.
- Most importantly, you are eager to learn, embrace new challenges, and develop the skills required to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment.
