- Managing and supporting the alignment of Zutari's people strategy with business strategy.
- Working together with management and employees to solve conflicts and help facilitate positive employee relations, maintain a good working environment, build morale, and decrease unwanted attrition.
- Help business markets become future-ready by focusing on the existing workforce in the market and prepare them for the future.
- Reskilling and upskilling by identifying training needs and assist the LearnX team in aligning training programs with business objectives.
- Strategic workforce planning to ensure the markets workforce has the right size, shape, cost, and agility for the future.
- Succession planning by selecting and develop key talent to ensure there are talents to fill in critical roles.
- Provide guidance on the creation and implementation of people processes and policies.
- Provide performance management guidance to line managers for example mentoring, career planning, coaching, etc.
- Reviewing and optimising where necessary the market's organisational design to increase productivity and improve performance of the business.
- Collaborating with people team members on implementing innovative and inclusive attraction and retention strategies.
- Assisting in developing a future-proof compensation and benefits plan for market aligned with wider business remuneration policies and procedures.
- Implementing reward and recognition interventions to support and drive high-performance and employee engagement.
- Provide advice and suggestions for culture-related activities / initiatives, such as embedding of codes and behaviours.
- Implement people interventions on employee wellness, diversity and inclusion, or retention activities.
- Performance management by having the ability to track relevant metrics and goals to drive business results.
Minimum requirements
- Degree or diploma in relevant People / HR field
- Minimum of at least 6 or more years' experience in Human Resources Management, or as a People Business Partner preferable within a professional or consulting services environment.
- Working knowledge of different human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organisational structuring, employee relations, CCMA experience, diversity, performance management and basic project management.
- Lead and / or manage specific HR projects and programmes
- Must have strong ability to build relationship at various levels within the firm.
- Excellent knowledge of S.A Labour law.
- Business acumen in understanding finance principles, risk and reward, and business outcomes.
- Great communication and presentation and problem-solving skills.
