- A medical Institution is looking for a Payroll Operations Manager to manage relevant remuneration and payroll systems and processes for the group.
DUTIES
- Manage the payroll system processes for MCSA
- Manage relevant remuneration processes for MCSA
- Accept ownership and manage the Success Factors System
- Coordinate relevant tax administration processes
- Manage and control department budgets / finances
- Initiate and manage relevant departmental projects
- Lead and manage the people in the Payroll Operations Team
REQUIREMENTS
Required Education
Essential Education
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field Financial / Commerce
Desired Education
- Post-graduate degree in financial field
Required Experience
Essential Minimum Experience
- 7 – 10 years' experience in a similar role; at least 5 years managerial experience
Desired Experience
- Experience in a payroll environment, within a large compliment of staff
Required Job Skills and Knowledge
- Understanding of the full monthly payroll process
- Understanding of HR Finance and relevant HR systems
- Knowledge of statutory and non-statutory payroll legislation
- Computer literacy: Excel
- Understanding of Payroll Operations Manager ration and employee benefits administration
- Payroll systems administration and SuccessFactors system knowledge
- Payroll governance, audit and risk management principles
- Financial reconciliation and payroll control principles
- Project management and continuous improvement capability
- Leadership and people management capability
- Stakeholder relationship management and communication skills
- Knowledge of POPIA and payroll data confidentiality requirements
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving capability
