BVSA Swellendam
BVSA Swellendam is looking for an experienced Payroll Manager to manage payroll services for external clients and support our payroll team.
Proven experience managing payroll for a wide variety of external clients across different industries and business sizes is essential.
Location: Swellendam
Starting date: As soon as possible
Duties & Responsibilities
- Process and manage clients’ payrolls using PaySpace.
- Handle EMP201 returns, EMP501 reconciliations and IRP5 certificates.
- Manage UIF and COIDA/Compensation Fund matters.
- Liaise with clients, resolve queries and provide payroll advice.
- Supervise and support payroll clerks, review their work and ensure accuracy, compliance and timely processing.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- A relevant qualification in Payroll, Accounting, HR or a related field.
- At least three years’ relevant payroll experience, including managing a wide variety of external clients.
- Strong practical PaySpace experience.
- Sound knowledge of South African payroll legislation and statutory submissions.
- Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlines and confidential information.
