Job Title: Payroll Administrator Start Date: 2026-08-21 - 2026-09-20 Vacancy Type: Permanent CPT000488 Sectors: Human Resources Location: Western Cape , Paarl Salary: (Market related) Brief: A reputable accounting firm is looking for an experienced Payroll Administrator to join their team. The successful candidate will manage payroll for a diverse client base while ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, statutory compliance and excellent client service. Detail: Key Responsibilities Process weekly, bi-weekly and monthly payrolls. Process new employees, terminations, leave, bonuses, overtime and deductions. Handle payroll benefits, bank details and ACB exports. Prepare and submit EMP201, EMP501, UIF and other statutory returns. Attend to SARS queries, audits, verifications and reconciliations. Manage IRP5 / IT3(a) requirements and payroll records. Ensure compliance with South African payroll and labour legislation. Assist clients with payroll queries and provide professional advice. Support and guide the Payroll Team and assist with daily team operations. Requirements Matric / Grade 12. 3–4 years' payroll experience, preferably within an accounting or audit environment. Sound knowledge of SARS, UIF, WCA and statutory payroll requirements. Strong administrative and organisational skills. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Good communication and client service skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines. A relevant tertiary qualification will be advantageous.
