C2M is an established audit and accounting firm based in Tyger Valley area, Bellville. We have a vacany for a Payroll Administrator. This role reports into the Senior Payroll Administrator and is a wonderful opportunity to continue your career journey in a professional environment.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage a designated portfolio of client payrolls as the primary point of contact for all payroll-related queries
- Process full bi-weekly, weekly, fortnightly and monthly payrolls accurately and within agreed deadlines
- Calculate and deduct PAYE, UIF, and SDL, and prepare monthly EMP201 returns on SARS eFiling
- Prepare and submit bi-annual EMP501 reconciliations and issue IRP5 certificates within prescribed deadlines
- Submit monthly UIF declarations via ufiling and manage employee registrations with the Department of Labour
- Maintain accurate employee records including personal information, banking details, and employment terms
- Prepare monthly payroll reconciliations and reports for clients, including cost summaries and variance analyses
- Manage COID registrations, Letters of Good Standing, and Return of Earnings submissions for clients
- Ensure all client payrolls comply with BCEA, LRA, Income Tax Act, and POPIA requirements
- Stay current on payroll-related tax legislation changes and implement updates before their effective dates
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Payspace knowledge and experience
- 3 - 4 years experience in payroll administration
- General Office Administration
- Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Payroll Qualification (desired)
- Grade 12
- Fully Bilingual in Afrikaans & English
