Job Title: Passenger Vehicle Parts Manager - Western Cape; Cape Town Southern Suburbs Start Date: 2026-08-24 - 2026-10-31 Vacancy Type: Permanent JHB000918 Sectors: *Dealership Location: Western Cape , CPT - Southern Suburbs Salary: Brief: Remuneration: Basic Salary: R34,000 – R38,000 per month (dependent on experience) + 50% Medical Aid contribution + Company vehicle + Provident Fund Purpose Of The Job: Our client an automotive dealership requires an experienced Parts Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will be a results-driven automotive Parts Manager with a proven track record in a franchised dealership environment. Experience with Omoda/Jaecoo, Jetour and/or Stellantis brands, combined with strong stock control, financial management, and leadership skills, will be highly advantageous. Detail: Key Responsibilities: Manage the daily operations of the Parts Department to ensure optimal efficiency and profitability Maintain accurate stock levels through effective inventory management, forecasting, and ordering processes Monitor and control parts purchasing, stock turn, obsolescence, and inventory carrying costs Ensure the timely supply of parts to the workshop, service department, and retail customers Develop and maintain strong relationships with manufacturers, suppliers, and dealership stakeholders Implement and maintain dealership and manufacturer parts policies, procedures, and standards Manage parts pricing, margins, and departmental financial performance to meet budget targets Oversee stock counts, audits, and reconciliation of inventory discrepancies Ensure effective management of warranty and return parts processes Lead, motivate, train, and develop Parts Department staff Drive customer satisfaction through exceptional service delivery and responsive problem-solving Prepare and present departmental reports, forecasts, and performance analyses to senior management Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and company policies Minimum Requirements: Proven experience as a Passenger Vehicle Parts Manager within a franchised dealership environment Strong knowledge of automotive parts operations, inventory control, procurement, and dealership systems Experience managing departmental budgets, profit margins, and performance targets Previous experience in a multi-franchise dealership environment would be highly advantageous Preference will be given to candidates with experience in: Omoda/Jaecoo Jetour Stellantis brands (Peugeot, Citroën, Opel, Fiat, Alfa Romeo, Jeep, etc.) Strong leadership, people management, and communication skills Computer literacy and experience with dealership management systems (DMS) Valid driver's licence Motor Industry experience Essential Please note only candidates with the required experience will be contacted and considered.
