Introduction

We are currently looking for a Part Sales Executive based in Bronkhorstspruit; Pretoria to join our dynamic team.

The Parts Sales Executive is responsible for the accurate, profitable, and timely sale and management of parts and accessories across:

  • Workshop (new and pre‑owned vehicles)
  • Warranty and Aftersales
  • Internal cash sales
  • External retail customers

This role is hands‑on, execution‑driven, and target‑based , requiring strong coordination with the Workshop, Sales, Aftersales, and Finance teams.

You are accountable for parts revenue, availability, accuracy, and service levels — not just counter sales.

Duties & Responsibilities

Parts Sales Mandate (5 Core Pillars)

Revenue & Target Achievement

Achieve and exceed monthly parts sales targets across all channels.

Availability & Turnaround

Ensure parts are sourced, ordered, received, and issued with minimal delay.

Accuracy & Stock Control

Maintain correct stock levels, bookings, and system updates at all times.

Workshop Enablement

Support workshop productivity by ensuring correct parts availability for PDI, repairs, warranty, and aftersales jobs.

Customer & Stakeholder Service

Deliver professional, responsive service to internal and external customers.

  • Parts Sales & Target Performance
  • Achieve monthly parts sales targets as set by the Group
  • Maximise parts profitability while remaining competitive
  • Retain existing customers and actively grow repeat and new business
  • Negotiate competitive supplier pricing where applicable
  • Ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, and approval structures

New Vehicle Parts & Accessories Management

Merchandise & Accessories

  • Order stock in line with OEM (e.g. Chery SA) targets via IAL
  • Receive, verify, and stock merchandise and accessories on Evolve
  • Ensure every new vehicle sold has:
  • An approved parts or accessory order
  • Correct booking‑out on Evolve
  • Correct update on IAL
  • Support Sales with upselling, quotations, and costings
  • Ensure stock controller raises purchase orders where required

Warranty & Standard Parts

  • Liaise with Workshop Manager on part identification and pricing
  • Provide accurate quotations and estimated time of arrival (ETA)
  • Monitor OEM approvals and follow up on deliveries
  • Update parts boards and internal trackers
  • Book parts correctly to job cards on Evolve
  • Manage storage of old warranty parts in line with OEM policy

Pre‑Owned Vehicle Parts Management

  • Source parts for used vehicle PDIs at best possible rates
  • Obtain and issue approved quotations
  • Track ETAs and update workshop planning boards
  • Load parts accurately onto Evolve when received
  • Ensure parts are booked correctly against PDI job cards
  • Support workshop turnaround targets for pre‑owned vehicles

Cash Sales Parts Management

Internal Cash Sales

  • Provide accurate pricing for merchandise and parts
  • Invoice customers via Evolve
  • Accept payments via cash, card, or EFT
  • Book parts out correctly and update stock records

External Cash Sales

  • Engage customers via phone, email, or WhatsApp
  • Provide clear quotes and collect payment in advance
  • Enforce deposit rules (50% deposit for items > R20,000)
  • Order parts via IAL and communicate ETAs clearly
  • Book out parts on collection and update Evolve and IAL

Aftersales Parts Support

  • Support Customer Care and Workshop teams with aftersales part requirements
  • Manage diagnostics‑linked part requests
  • Order approved parts and track delivery
  • Update stakeholders proactively on status
  • Ensure parts are fitted, tested, and booked correctly to job cards

Stock Control & System Discipline

  • Monitor and control parts stock levels
  • Ensure all movements are accurately reflected on:
  • Evolve
  • IAL
  • Maintain clean, reconcilable parts records
  • Prevent stock losses, misbookings, and delays
  • Maintain organised parts storage and traceability

Operating Environment

  • High‑volume dealership workshop and parts environment
  • Constant coordination with Sales, Service, and Aftersales teams
  • OEM‑driven systems (IAL) and DMS platforms (Evolve)
  • Deadline‑driven, fast‑paced operational role

Desired Experience & Qualification

Minimum Qualifications

  • Matric Certificate (Mandatory)
  • Valid Driver’s Licence
  • 3–4 years’ experience in a dealership parts or workshop environment

Experience Requirements

  • Proven experience in:
  • Parts sales
  • Parts ordering and sourcing
  • Workshop and PDI parts support
  • Exposure to:
  • OEM parts systems
  • Warranty and aftersales processes
  • Comfortable operating unsupervised in a high‑pressure environment

Package & Remuneration
