- Grade 10 or equivalent.

DUTIES
- Perform general labour duties within the Parks, Sports and Cemeteries Section.
- Assist with the maintenance and upkeep of municipal parks, sports grounds, cemeteries and related facilities.
- Carry out grass cutting, trimming, weeding, pruning and general landscaping activities.
- Assist with cleaning, litter collection and removal of refuse from parks, sports facilities and cemeteries.
- Assist with the preparation and maintenance of sports fields, recreational areas and public open spaces.
- Assist with the maintenance and cleaning of cemeteries, including pathways, gravesites and surrounding areas.
- Load, offload and transport tools, materials, equipment and other items as required.
- Assist with minor maintenance and repair activities under the supervision of the relevant supervisor.
- Operate basic tools and equipment safely and responsibly.
- Perform any other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
