- Area: Parkmore
- Ages: Grade 5 and 9, but main focus is on the grade 5 boy
- Neurodivergence snapshot: Grade 5 boy is dyslexic and ADHD and requires assistance with homework and exam preparation
- Support style: Preference is for candidate that has experience with dyslexia and ADHD and qualification or studying towards remedial teaching to support the homework and exam prep considering the specific need.
- Working hours: Monday – Friday 15:00 – 18:00
- School Holidays: Same as above
- Duties: Core responsibility is to assist with homework/ school projects/ study and test preparation. Be proactive with the school activities, extra reading, pre-emptive exam preparation. Occasional school and extra mural drop off and pick up.
- Additional Requirements: First language Afrikaans speaking person, remedial teaching experience or studying towards remedial teaching is preference. Alternatively teaching experience or studying towards a teaching qualification
- Start date: 11 January 2027 – permanent contract
- Salary: R12 000 – R15 000 per month Gross, before deductions depending on qualifications and experience + SARS rates per km R4.95
All Au Pair Extraordinaire applicants must fill the following requirements:
- Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal childcare experience, excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years.
- Must have their own, reliable car and at least 12 months driving experience.
- Must have at least 2 contactable childcare references.
- Must have a clear criminal record
- Must have a passion for children
- Must have Matric
- Must have a South African ID document.
