Duties & Responsibilities
Job Description
- New Business Development : Proactively identify and target potential payment merchants in South Africa.
- Product Expertise : Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the payment products available to merchants within the National Payments System.
- Sales Reporting & Forecasting : Accurately track sales activities, manage pipeline, and provide regular reports and forecasts to sales management. Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to ensure a seamless client experience and contribute to product enhancements based on market feedback.
- Achieve Sales Targets : Consistently meet or exceed assigned sales quotas and performance metrics.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Qualifications
- Diploma in Sales & Marketing
Skills
- 3-4 years experience in the sales of Payment Solutions
- Ability to understand and articulate technical concepts related to payment processing and integrating them into business solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to prospect, qualify leads, conduct compelling presentations, negotiate effectively, and close deals.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment and adapt to evolving market conditions.
