Painting Team Leader

About the Role

• We are seeking a dedicated Paint Team Leader to oversee our paint operations within the manufacturing sector. Your primary focus will be to lead a team of paint technicians in ensuring high-quality application and adherence to safety standards, while optimizing production efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of paint technicians to achieve quality and production targets.
• Develop and implement effective paint application processes to enhance product efficiency and quality.
• Conduct regular inspections of paintwork to ensure compliance with safety guidelines and quality standards.
• Collaborate with other departments to coordinate workflows and resolve production issues in a timely manner.
• Manage inventory levels of paint and related materials, ensuring availability for continuous production.
• Train new team members on paint application techniques, safety practices, and equipment operation.
• Monitor team performance, providing daily feedback and conducting performance reviews.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, promoting best practices in health and safety.

Requirements

• Proven track record in a leadership role within a paint or manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of paint application techniques, equipment, and safety regulations.
• Demonstrable experience in managing teams effectively, with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to analyze production data and implement improvements.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification in paint technology or related fields would be an advantage.
• Previous experience in a supervisory role is preferred.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles is a plus
