Minimum requirements
- Grade 12
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Agriculture, Production, Operations Management, or a related field will be advantageous.
- Minimum 5 years proven management experience in a citrus packhouse environment
- Strong understanding of citrus packhouse operations, production planning, and local and export market requirements
- Sound knowledge of fruit quality, traceability, food safety and applicable regulatory and certification requirements
- Proven ability to lead line managers, supervisors, and seasonal labour teams
- Commercially and numerically strong, with experience in budgeting, cost control, and productivity management
- Proficient in packhouse systems, technology, grading equipment, and computer applications
- Strong planning, organisational, problem-solving, communication, and decision-making skills
- Working knowledge of occupational health and safety requirements within an agricultural, production, or industrial environment
- Hands-on, accountable, and willing to work flexible hours during peak operational periods
- Fluent in Afrikaans and Englis
