Job Description

Coca-Cola Beverages South Africa (CCBSA) presents an exciting opportunity for suitably qualified businesses/persons to fill the above-mentioned business opportunity.

We are seeking (61) competent, Phase1 Owners Drivers with potential to successfully partner and independently contract with Coca-Cola Beverages South Africa as an Owner Driver Phase 1 .

KEY PURPOSE STATEMENT

To perform a delivery service of the supplier company's products in accordance with the contractual agreement and set standards, adhering to business ethics which are consistent with the supplier company's values.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

KEY OUTPUTS

• Competent in the management of truck driving

• Must be able to achieve operational driving as judged by on the K53 test.

• Understanding of vehicle maintenance processes and requirements.

• Maintain a clear safety record.

• Maintain good and credible People Management practices

• Run and sustain a profitable business that operates within the premise of the contract

• Maturity to balance short term and long-term financial pressures.

• Good relations with all external customers and third-party service providers.

• Good self-management and time management.

• Insight into efficient operating techniques.

• Insight and understanding of competitive business environment

• Full understanding of the CCBSA operations

• Knowledge of the Road Traffic Act

Skills, Experience & Education

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE

• Grade 12

• Minimum of 3 years continuous Code 14 driving experience with heavy duty articulated truck and trailer

• Driving experience (heavy vehicle & trailer experience)

• Must live in the area being sourcing for

• Entrepreneurial ability

• Should have a basic knowledge of business principles: income, expenses, profit, management of assets

• Good interpersonal skills

• Should be proficient in English and a regional language

• Knowledge of the Road Traffic Act

• Knowledge of accident procedures as per legislative requirements
