Overnight Receptionist (Hermanus)

An upmarket and vibrant hostel group is looking for a fun, energetic, and guest-focused Overnight Receptionist to join the team at our new Hermanus property. If you thrive in a dynamic hospitality environment and love meeting people from around the world, we’d love to hear from you! Minimum Requirements: • Matric certificate (Grade 12) • Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar reception role within the hotel or hostel industry • Able to work night shifts from 23:00 to 07:30 Key Skills & Attributes: • High energy and a positive, team-oriented attitude • Excellent customer service • Professional personal presentation and grooming • Strong verbal, written, and telephonic communication skills • Reliable, responsible, and calm under pressure • Confident dealing with conflict and difficult situations • Strong planning, organisation, and time management abilities • Knowledge of local attractions, events, and hospitality services • Computer literate – Excel, Word, and hotel PMS systems (Opera, Cloudbeds, or similar) Application Requirements: Please include the following with your application: • A short cover letter • A recent photo • Written references • Your updated CV Candidates must be available for an in-person interview in Hermanus.
