Outbound Stock Controller

Chemical manufacturing company based in Prospecton is looking for an outbound stock controller. Maths with English and Maths + National qualification in Logistics. Minimum 5 years logistics experience. Email your cv including current or previous salary and notice period.

Responsibility: Allocates available stock against orders and completion of delivery notes. Vets and transfers stock from Production to Sales Warehouse (Consignment Warehouses). Verifies orders against available pack sizes before requesting for fresh stock manufacture. Prepares picking lists for stores to assemble the order. Ensures back orders are minimized. Manages outbound stock levels in conjunction with purchasing and sales. Monitors stock levels ensuring FIFO is practiced, expiry dates are monitored, ensure timeous movement of stock to reduce losses, compile list of slow-moving stock. Conduct checks to ensure that stock meets export requirements, expiry date, labelling, drum condition, manages the physical loading of the container. Supervisors the loading of trucks and containers for Export, ensuring that they are loaded correctly. Supervisors the forklift truck drivers on the loading of break bulk and loading of Export containers. Completes the VGM, container inspection check list and, IMO dangerous goods declaration. Completing the shipping of dispatched product/s on the ERP system, providing dispatch documents, and signing of Hazardous declaration. Compile stock related reports. Compiles the load plan for outbound deliveries.
