- Plan, coordinate and manage special projects from initiation through to successful completion
- Manage client accounts and build strong, professional relationships
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor service quality, standards and compliance
- Assess project requirements and compile accurate project quotations
- Monitor project budgets, costs, resources and profitability
- Track project progress against agreed timelines, deliverables and quality standards
- Coordinate manpower and resources to ensure successful project execution
- Identify operational risks and implement appropriate corrective actions
- Ensure all projects comply with relevant OHS, HSE and company requirements
- Monitor cleaning and soft service standards across project sites
- Resolve client queries and complaints promptly, professionally and fairly
- Communicate project progress, challenges and outcomes to relevant stakeholders
- Train, guide and develop operational and cleaning teams where required
- Ensure correct chemical handling, storage and segregation procedures are maintained
- Identify opportunities to improve service delivery, efficiency and operational performance
- Compile project reports and provide regular updates to management and clients
What youll need
- National Diploma or Degree in Facilities Management, Project Management, Finance, BCom or a related qualification
- 35 years project or contract management experience within the soft services or facilities management sector
- Strong experience managing soft services and cleaning operations
- Valid license & Own vehicle
- Proven ability to manage projects from planning through to completion
- Strong understanding of manpower planning, performance management, quality standards and site compliance
- Good knowledge of OHS requirements, HSE principles and safe working practices
- Knowledge of safe chemical storage, handling and segregation requirements
- Strong financial and commercial awareness, including quoting and project cost tracking
- Excellent client relationship and account management skills
- Strong communication, leadership and organisational abilities
- Ability to train, guide and develop cleaning and operational staff
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple projects and priorities
- A proactive, structured and solutions-driven approach
