- Efficient management of the Branch Logistics Staff and Maintenance stock holdings within the relevant branches.
Key Deliverables / Primary Functions
- Plan and manage project and customer inventory to ensure stock availability in support of contractual service levels, operational requirements and customer commitments.
- Oversee the receiving, storage, handling and distribution of inventory in accordance with company standards, operational procedures and relevant quality requirements.
- Maintain inventory accuracy and governance through stock counts, reconciliations, variance investigations, system integrity and implementation of corrective actions.
- Manage customer inventory across the national branch network, ensuring stock visibilitiy, replenishment, reporting and compliance with customer requirements.
- Manage third-party logistics providers, suppliers and operational stakeholders to ensure effective service delivery, cost optimisation and adherence to agreed service levels.
- Lead customer audits and ensure compliance with contractual obligations, operational procedures, quality standards and legislative requirements.
- Analyse inventory and operational performance reports, providing meaningful insight to support informed business decision-making.
- Build and maintain effective customer and supplier relationships, supporting operational performance, issue resolution and customer satisfaction.
- Lead, coach and manage the Distribution Centre team, ensuring effective performance management, employee development and achievement of operational objectives.
- Implement and continuously improve inventory management, warehousing and distribution processes, identifying opportunities to improve operational efficiency and mitigate operational risk.

Minimum Qualifications
- NQF 6: 3 year Degree/ Diploma/ National Diploma in Supply Chain Management
- OR NQF 4: Grade 12
Additional Education -Preferred /Advantage
Experience
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a procurement role, with at least 1-year in a supervisory or senior position
- Or
- If only Grade 12, then 5-years' experience in a procurement role, with at least 3-years' in a supervisory or senior position.
