- To operate cutting machines and produce high quality banknotes in accordance with customer specifications and aligned to the South African Bank Note Company SABN standards.
Main Responsibilities not limited to
- Cutting & packing products as per set performance targets and in full compliance with quality specifications
- Perform denomination settings, quality checks through measuring of notes against set specifications.
- Ensure that machines are operated according to Standard Operating Procedures
- Minimise wastage in every activity within set
- Perform autonomous maintenance tasks as per the schedule, and report any defective performance to the Section Head
- Operate the machine in adherence to SHE regulations and
- Contribute to continuous
- Ensure that machines are counting accurately under dual
- Report any balancing issues to the Section Head
- Ensure correct entry of data into DCLink
The Preferred Candidate is likely to have
- Grade 12
- N4 Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
- 1-2 years' experience within a printing industry or in a similar operational role
Knowledge and Skills
- Principles of production
- Knowledge of Printing Industry
- Numeracy skills
- Communication skills
- Computer literacy
