- Grade 10 /Abet level 2 certificate or Equivalent Qualification.
- Must have good knowledge of linen and theatre instrument sterilization.
- Must be prepared to work shifts including weekends and public holidays.
- A Minimum of 1 year experience in a hospital environment will be an added advantage.
Duties
- Folding, packing, and autoclaving of linen. Washing of solid instruments and packing.
- Packing of single instruments and sharps. Sterilizing of loan sets. Count and control of instruments.
- Packing of packs used in the ward. Issuing sterile packs to wards and casualty and preparing disinfectants for cleaning the theater and washing instruments.
- Perform any other work-related duties as instructed by the supervisor.
