- Develop and secure approval for all capital and operational budgets
- Plan activities and oversee the performance of subordinate staff
- Coordinate departmental training in partnership with HR
- Manage special projects as required, ensuring timely delivery
- Keep policies and procedures current and effective
- Communicate effectively across all levels of the organization
- Manage financial and human resources efficiently
- Foster a learning culture and provide strong leadership
- Handle conflict resolution and contractual analysis to mitigate risks
Requirements
- Grade 12 certificate
- Experience in toll plaza or highway operations
- Higher Diploma or related tertiary qualification in Operations Management or similar
- Valid Unendorsed Code 08 Drivers License
- Between 8 to 10 years of relevant experience
- Proven leadership abilities
- Strong financial management skills
- Excellent communication and conflict management capabilities
- Business management experience in a transport or related sector
