- We are seeking a Client Centric Operations Manager for our Pharma division in PE.
Qualification
- Grade 12 Certificate
- 3-year freight forwarding related qualification at NQF level 6
Knowledge and experience
- 8 – 10 years Seafreight and Airfreight experience in Freight Forwarding Industry of which 2-3 years were in a supervisory capacity
- INCO Terms. Process knowledge on the movement of goods throughout the supply chain
- Basic international trade principles
- Critical thinking skills, problem solving techniques, excellent time management skills
- Delegation, coaching, mentoring and counselling
- Encouraging-motivating a comfortable working environment
- The ability to organise a team effectively and efficiently
- Execution of functional business objectives and strategies
- Understanding of international currencies
- Freight forwarding and clearing document flow procedure
- Computer literacy Ms Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- External Business Environment. Customer centric
- Good communication skills Verbal and Written
- Sound Administration skills. Financial acumen
- Change management ambassadors
- Managing and resolving conflict. Action and result orientation
- Assertiveness, Initiative, Proactive, Independence, Integrity and diplomacy

- Manage and oversee the freight movement of cargo
- Administration of shipment file
- Management of Seafreight and Airfreight channels :
- Financial Management
- Department File Audit
- Invoicing & Quality Checking
- Cost sheet level sign off
- Comply with the requirements of the quality management system
