Job Title: Operations Manager Start Date: 2026-07-09 - 2026-09-30 Vacancy Type: Permanent PE000329 Sectors: Retail/FMCG/Food & Bev Location: Africa , South Africa Salary: Brief: brand standards|operations manager|p&l|revenue growth|staff discipline|standard operating procedures Multiple Locations: Johannesburg (Gauteng) / Port Elizabeth (Eastern Cape) / KwaZulu-Natal / Mpumalanga , South Africa ( separate roles exist for Franchise Partner stores in JHB and KZN, and Corporate stores in PE and MP) Purpose: The Operations Manager is responsible for implementing the Operations Management Framework across a designated cluster of stores, supporting and enabling the sustainability and profitability of existing and potential stakeholders, and helping expand the scope, growth, and clientele. There's a strong focus on meeting and maintaining brand standards and SOPs. Qualifications and Experience: Qualification in Marketing, Business Development, or Business Administration Franchise and/or Corporate store experience is essential GAAP / Micros systems experience At least 2 years' experience as a Junior Operations Manager Valid, unendorsed Driver's licence is essential, and own vehicle (preferred) Must be a SA ID Holder with a clean criminal history Behavioural Skills: Excellent communication skills Ability to work with people from diverse cultural backgrounds Ability to work under pressure Obsessive attention to detail Able to work autonomously and in a group Ability to control and coordinate people and processes Technical experience: Proven ability to manage operational issues at stores Proven ability to manage quality control and compliance in line with SOPs Ability to achieve sales and GP% targets People management (discipline, training and development) MS Office (advanced) Key performance areas: Handling all operational issues for allocated stores Ensuring quality and optimal compliance with SOP Setting guidelines to ensure turnover, food cost, and operational expenses are managed to maximise net profitability Assisting Franchise Partners in trouble-shooting Attending to customer complaints and implementing corrective action Attending to weekly reports on stores People management — plan, organise, lead and control subordinates to ensure store objectives are met or exceeded Coach and develop the team Upload a comprehensive and updated CV by clicking on the APPLY button.
