Operations Executive (Fuel, Retail & Food)

Introduction

About the Role: A market-leading organization in the Fuel, Retail, and Food industries is seeking a dynamic Operations Executive to oversee multi-site operations across filling stations, quick-service restaurants, and supermarkets. This is a strategic role where you will drive operational excellence, optimize business performance, and manage key franchisee and stakeholder relationships in a fast-paced environment.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Lead and execute operational strategies to ensure business growth, profitability, and compliance.

• Manage day-to-day operations across multiple sites, including stock control, franchise compliance, and performance monitoring.

• Analyse operational data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks, translating insights into actionable plans.

• Build strong relationships with franchisees, suppliers, and customers to drive brand performance and satisfaction.

• Lead, mentor, and develop teams across regions, fostering a high-performance culture.

• Oversee projects such as new store openings, renovations, and expansions from concept to completion.

Desired Experience & Qualification

• Tertiary qualification (Engineering, Business, or related field preferred)

• Proven experience in FMCG, Retail, or Wholesale operations at a supervisory or management level

• Strong financial and analytical skills, including budget management and data-driven decision-making

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Google Suite; experience with BI tools and data analysis is essential

• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel frequently

• Professional, reliable, and sober habits
