Duties & Responsibilities

ROLE

• As a fundamental part of the domain Digital Identity, they are responsible for the global Active Directory with more than 100.000 user accounts.

• Therefore, ensuring high availability and highest state of the art security are key success factors in our daily work.

• As part of our team, you drive the implementation of our Group IT Strategy.

• What do we offer you?

• As an Azure Infrastructure and Security Specialist, we offer you an innovative and challenging field of activity in the Authentications Platform product.

• You will be responsible for the global Active Directory cloud infrastructure operation and maintenance.

• You have the possibility to constantly improve the operational tasks and processes and increase the level of automation to keep the whole Active Directory ready for the future.

• You work very closely in a global multicultural team and their interface partners, especially in the Digital Identity domain but also with the stakeholders and requestors from the Group IT.

• Regular tasks as Azure Infrastructure and Security Specialist:

• Use health monitoring to proactively solve issues and ensure service quality

• Automate operation tasks to improve your own efficiency and to enable third-party operation teams with Just-Enough-Administration approach

• Solve incidents and requests of improvement measures as well as problems to increase system stability and transparency

• Plan and implement changes, sometimes also outside of the normal business hours

• Stay up to date about security risk and mitigations to constantly strengthen the security

• Active participation in meetings, calls and email conversations with product owner, other feature teams and stakeholders

• Steering of responsibilities between stakeholders, customers, providers and team members

Desired Experience & Qualification

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE

• ✅ Successfully completed degree in computer science/communications engineering or another degree program or comparable qualification.

• ✅ Minimum 6 years of professional experience (also internationally) in the IT sector, some of them with responsibility of managing large Cloud / Hybrid environments

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

• ✅ 6 years of professional experience in the implementation and support of IT architectures in Microsoft Azure cloud platforms

• ✅ Advanced experience in implementing and administering Microsoft Products, especially Active Directory, KMS, PKI together with the common network services like DNS, DHCP

• ✅ Advanced experience in Active Directory architecture and infrastructure

• ✅ Expert experience with development and implementation of Active Directory security concepts and IT Security Solutions in Azure

• ✅ Advanced network knowledge of IPv4, IPv6, DHCP, DNS, Routing, Firewall

• ✅ Expert experience in Azure automation as Infrastructure as Code with Powershell and Terraform

• ✅ Expert experience in administration of Windows Server operating systems

• ✅ Any additional responsibilities assigned in the Agile Working Model (AWM) Charter

ADVANTAGEOUS SKILLS

• ✅ Advanced Experience in working with hybrid cloud environments, ideally Microsoft Azure (e.g. Entra ID)

• ✅ Experience working in an Agile environment

• ✅ Practical knowledge of Terraform and code versioning systems like Git

• ✅ Experience in setting up IT Security, especially with Zero Trust solutions, Microsoft Defender products and Active Directory security best practices

• ✅ Teamwork and strong internal and external communication skills

• ✅ Analytical thinking skills to coordinate, analyse and fix technical faults

• ✅ Self-organizer and problem-solver with a strong delivery focus
