Anicalls is looking for a skilled OpenAI API Engineer to design, develop, and support enterprise AI applications powered by OpenAI models and APIs . The ideal candidate will have experience building intelligent applications using Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), function calling, and structured outputs to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performance AI solutions
Duties & Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using OpenAI APIs .
- Build AI-powered solutions leveraging LLMs , function calling, and structured outputs.
- Develop and optimize Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines.
- Integrate OpenAI models with enterprise applications and third-party systems.
- Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code using Python or TypeScript .
- Design and implement AI evaluation frameworks to measure model performance and accuracy.
- Collaborate with business, data, and engineering teams to deliver scalable AI solutions.
- Ensure application security, reliability, and performance following industry best practices.
- Troubleshoot and optimize AI workflows and API integrations.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Up to 5 years of overall IT experience.
- Minimum 1–2 years of hands-on experience with OpenAI APIs or closely related AI/LLM technologies.
- Experience developing AI-powered enterprise applications.
- Knowledge of LLM orchestration, prompt engineering, and structured outputs.
- Familiarity with vector databases and semantic search concepts.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
