Anicalls is seeking a skilled OpenAI Agent Developer to design, build, and support intelligent AI agents using OpenAI models . The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience developing autonomous AI agents with tool calling, memory, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and enterprise integrations to deliver secure, scalable, and business-focused AI solutions.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain AI agents using OpenAI models and modern agent frameworks.
- Build task-performing agents with tool calling , memory, and enterprise connectors.
- Develop and integrate REST APIs and external services with AI agents.
- Implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions for knowledge-driven AI applications.
- Design and implement guardrails to ensure safe, reliable, and compliant AI behavior.
- Monitor and optimize AI agent performance using observability tools and best practices.
- Collaborate with business, engineering, and data teams to deliver scalable AI solutions.
- Troubleshoot, test, and enhance AI agent capabilities based on business requirements.
- Ensure application security, scalability, and maintainability.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Up to 5 years of overall IT experience.
- Minimum 1–2 years of hands-on experience in OpenAI Agent Development or closely related AI technologies.
- Experience building enterprise AI applications using Large Language Models (LLMs).
- Knowledge of OpenAI APIs, AI agent architectures, and cloud platforms.
- Strong understanding of AI safety, evaluation, and monitoring.
- Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
