About the Opportunity
Medical Resources Group is recruiting on behalf of our client for a highly organised and detail-oriented Office Administrator to join their dynamic financial services team in Durban.
This opportunity is ideally suited to a proactive administrator who takes ownership of their work, has excellent attention to detail, and can manage multiple priorities while meeting strict deadlines.
The successful candidate will provide administrative support to Brokers, Compliance, and Administration teams while ensuring that client documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant.
Key Responsibilities
Client Administration
Prepare and maintain client files for new business and client reviews.
Ensure all documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant.
Prepare and finalise files within the required 48-hour turnaround time .
Maintain accurate registers, trackers, and filing systems.
Assist with quotations, comparisons, and Medprac administration.
Follow up on outstanding documentation and client requirements.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records.
Team Support
Provide administrative support to Brokers, Compliance, and Administration teams.
Identify missing information, documentation gaps, or delays and escalate these promptly.
Assist with general administrative duties as required.
Ensure all tasks are completed accurately and within required deadlines.
Compliance & Reporting
Maintain confidentiality of all client and business information.
Ensure client records and documentation are maintained accurately.
Assist with compliance-related administration where required.
Prepare and maintain reports and administrative trackers.
Ensure reporting requirements are completed accurately and on time.
Minimum Requirements
Essential
2–3 years' administrative experience.
Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Microsoft Excel .
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent follow-up abilities.
Ability to manage deadlines and multiple priorities.
